Published by the U.S. Department of Education, this material consists of a set of cards containing tips for parents to become more involved in their children's education.  Topics covered include:  getting involved;  helping your child to stay alcohol, tobacco and drug free; homework; parents' rights; what to ask at a parent-teacher conference; readiness to read and reading; violence in your school; special education; television; testing; and computers.  100 TIPS FOR PARENTS is available in English and Spanish.  Single copies are available free of charge from the Parent Information Center; for multiple copies, call the U.S. Department of Education at 1-800-LEARN.
