Effective Parent/Professional Communication Being a good communicator is critical for parents and professionals working together to support children with disabilities. In this workshop, we will discuss the communication process, some of the barriers to effective communication and strategies to improve parent/professional collaboration. Participants will learn how they can become more effective advocates for children through improved communication skills.
