Here is what I would do I would have my child tested for other learning problems of course at the schools expense and then if you do not agree ask for outside evaluations you can get them. For now I would tell Ms. Teacher that there seems to be some reasons why your child takes 2 hours to do his homework and what does she see in the classroom Tell your teacher that you will do 30 min a night no more no less until all testing is complete.
Request a IEP team meeting if you have not done so and state you have a child with learning issues and what him evaluated in all areas. If you need help finding the differnt areas check the sped rules.
You do not need to be stressed out over homework it is important but not the end of the world if your child can not complete it. Ask for help or contact the NHDOE for guidance.
