Help,
My son was diagnosed late (age 11)with Aspergers.
Where do I go for help with social skills?
Are there social skills training classes available?
The school is doing the bare minimum and frankly I am
not interestd in asking them for help. Or even fighting. It takes too much energy and my focus is on
helping my child learn to make friends.
Where do I go?
Are the private schools for kids with Aspergers?
Are there training classes for kids?
Camps? A place where he would make one friend?
Is there anyone in Southern NH who can guide me to services?
Are there free services. We have been paying a private therapist-psychologist for a year and have seen very little in the way of better. This may be because we now know our child has aspergers.
Anything would be truly appreciated. I feel very alone in trying to help my truly unique and wonderful child.
