You are always best to follow the process. The process for evaluation is to have the school do the necessary tests for reevaluation. They will give you a list of the tests and ask for your signature. If you disagree with the results of the evaluations or feel that more information is needed, you may request an independent evaluation at the school's expense. The school does not have to grant the request, however. Parents are always free to get an independent evaluation at thier own expense and give the report to the school.
